THE NEED FOR A BIBLE CHURCH
IN ELIZABETHTOWN, KENTUCKY
Hearing and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and learning how to study and teach the Bible are the greatest needs people in any community can have. Being the heart of what the Bible calls 'discipleship', they are SO important that Jesus Christ told His followers to do use
those tools as He used them to build His church (Matthew 28:18-20).
Like many other communities in the United States, less than 50% of the current 110,000+ residents of Hardin County, Kentucky claim to have any religious affiliation. Less. Than. One. Half.
Ford Motor Company is currently building an EV battery plant that will employ over 5,000 people in Hardin County. Along with trade's people and satellite businesses, the number will easily be higher by the scheduled opening date of 2025. With this influx of new residents, the need for Bible training churches also increases.
The Bible Church of Elizabethtown will help fulfill the Biblical mandate of 'making disciples'. With a projected Bible Study launch in the fall of 2024, God is bringing another opportunity for people to learn and grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
A PARTNERSHIP IN MINISTRY
IFCA International is a movement of independent pastors, churches, and ministries that network together to sponsor and establish new churches around the world. Within our movement are multiples of people standing ready to serve and assist as new churches are established.
These 8 specific ministry partnership venues (explained in the MINISTRIES tab,
www.ifca.org) work in harmony to assist believers in the journey of discipleship and church building.
Two agencies uniquely poised to assist in the new work in Elizabethtown, Kentucky are
Southeast Church Extension and
Midwest Church Extension. The Directors of the two ministries (Rev. Daniel Nave and Dr. Henry Vosburgh, respectively) have over 60 years of pastoral/ministry leadership experience and have worked together for the cause of Christ and His Church for the past 2 decades.
A PLAN FOR THE FUTURE
The fall of 2024 will be a vital time for Elizabethtown, Kentucky and for The Bible Church of Elizabethtown. Informational and planning meetings will be scheduled and a weeknight Bible study is currently in the works. Follow us on social media for more updates and information.
